Interestingly enough, I'm actually in the process of playing through PoP:SoT as we speak for the first time. I've heard complaints about the combat, but I honestly haven't had any real problems with it thus far. Seems like a pretty standard dodge-and-attack fare.

Anecdotal evidence. By people that play Brawl competitively (yeah, yeah... it's funny and stuff), Ganon is the worst character in the game. He has no approaching options, moves slow as hell, and has no good matchups. In short, Ganon is horrible.
