    I use the manual to get an idea of the controls and use the tutorials to get a feel for the game and I find that this method makes playing a new game that much easier

    i find that steatlh in combat games can be helpfull as you will be able to find better posistions to attack the enemy from and in some games listen to the unaware npc's have a funny discussion
