I never said that every title for the wii was a casual game. And yes, those games did well. However, saying that casual games have quality is a stretch. Have you seen all the carnival, baby sitter, zoo pets, dress up, teaching, and cooking games that are out right now for the wii as well...

With the release of such epic movies like Up and Princess and the Frog, I have to ask all ya'll out there: is anyone else here an animation junkie? I mean, I was practically drooling during some of the song numbers in Princess and the Frog. Everything was just so...smooth. And colorful...

In terms of graphics: Super Mario 64. It was a milestone in 3D animation. In terms of everything else: Portal. Best game I've ever played. I think that just about every other developer can learn from its plot, mechanics, characters, and engine.
