How about the atomic bomb never being invented, causing the US to invade Japan in WWII, the Cold War never to happen and nuclear weaponry not being able to advance to the world destroying potential it has today.

Would it still be considered a gunblade if you were to take a knife and put it on the handle end of a pistol, blade point facing down. So if your were at close range instead of pistol whipping someone you would end up stabbing them.

I agree with all the improving the story and deepening the characters, I'd also like to see improvements on the fighting and gunplay. Something that I think would work quite well for a game with all the random crap lying around, would be a deep weapon creating system, for example you add in...

That would be pretty nice. I'd probably end up saving then going postal on everyone, load then continue on as normal. Or just quitting school and travel the world. One little problem with the whole idea is that what if you accidentally save right before you hit the ground after jumping off...
