There was a good one about Red Dead Redemption in which there was allegedly a werewolf in the pine forest area when the in-game moon was full. People were organizing multiplayer hunting parties and everything. There was some creepy stuff about one of the houses in one of the ghost towns (can't...
Phenomenal choice, Scald were such an incredible band.
Personally I'd go with Simen Hestnæs, aka ICS Vortex. Something about his scathing harsh vox combined with the weird, warbling cleans he does massively appeals to me:

It happened all the time at uni, was never anything more than funny and nobody I lived with was particularly shy about it. We were all having sex and the walls of the house we lived in were thin; it was just part of life.
One morning we were all sat around watching TV and this lass one of my...
Metal has some dramatic and evocative, if excessively wordy song titles. A few favourites off the top of my head:
'She Painted Fire Across the Skyline Pts. I-III'
'In the Shadow of our Pale Companion'
'This Cold Mountain on Which You Will Die'
'You Were but a Ghost in My Arms'
All by...
Haha yeah, I would spend the entire day doing the "obvious" stuff with the aim of perfecting my technique for my imminent change back into a man. What better way to know what feels good for a woman than to experience it first-hand?
If I don't get banned for bumping an old (self authored) thread then I'm going to discuss some of this stuff tomorrow because a post-pub musing that I forgot about in the cold light of day has thrown up some some really interesting discussion. If I'm able to log in in the morning then I'll flesh...
In no order:
Venom - Welcome to Hell
Arcturus - The Sham Mirrors
Crowbar - Odd Fellows Rest
Morbid Angel - Altars of Madness/Blessed are the Sick
Repulsion - Horrified
Whenever the thorny topic of sex or intimate relationships is broached on these forums it's not unusual to see a smattering of responses along the lines of "I'm asexual so this doesn't really concern me". This intrigues me, so I ask:
[Pre-emptive Disclaimer: I'm not trolling]
Are there any...
I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the deathmatch style both in the US and Japan.
I'm aware that the style attracts a lot of negative opinion on dedicated wrestling forums but I'm of the feeling that if these lunatics are stupid enough to do that stuff to themselves then I'm sure as...
Yes, eventually. In terms of achievements I've only got 3 games at 100%; Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. I have no reason to think this pattern will broken by Skyrim, even if it does take years and multiple playthroughs.
In terms of simply seeing everything the game has to offer...
No but this sounds pretty damn good, I'll have to investigate these guys further. I'm not normally a fan of synths in black metal but they integrate them with just enough subtlety that they don't sound cheesy or overwrought. Cheers for the heads-up.
Glad also you got a kick from Blasphemy. I...
Ah yes you can't go wrong with the first couple of Ulver albums (funnily enough your avatar caught my eye whilst I was browsing the forums earlier). I've tried so many times to appreciate their later, more avant-garde material, which many assure is me phenomenal, but it seems my brain is...
I heartily disagree with this statement, there's tons of great BM out there at the moment. As a fellow Bathory fan you may enjoy:
Aosoth
Kampfar
Teitanblood
Blut aus Nord
1349
Tsjuder
Behexen
Diocletian
Blasphemophager
Plus tons of other great stuff that is taking black metal in...
