Some composers define them as MathMetal because of the complex rhythms used in their music. One of the main reasons why I listen to them actually.

I listen to pretty much every style except Pop & Country, but my favourite at the moment would be Math-Metal (Such as Meshuggah) & Math-Jazz (like Hiromi Uehara)
