The Mist... The ending of that movie made me want to kick a puppy. Even talking about it sorta pisses me off a little.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned any of the Mobile Suit Gundam series yet. Personally I liked the 8th Mobile Suit Team the best. Hellsing, Berserk, Rurouni Kenshin, FLCL, Ergo Proxy are some others I would recommend.
