For an all encompassing space opera try the Pandora's Star series by Peter F. Hamilton it does a wonderful job showing all aspects of humanity once we left earth. My personal favorite sci-fi book would be The God's Themselves by Asimov

There is a lot to choose from but i'm gonna go with Legend of the Dragoon I still play that game to this day

I'm playing as the Russians, leading in all research except navy (there is no ports for them until you take it from someone) in the year 1732. I took all of the ottoman empire's land because they pissed me off so i made it my mission to destroy them

Personally I heard a lot about Resident Evil 4 but when i played it it didn't really impress me I was A fan of the earlier ones tho
