After the first couple of hours when you have a full party there isn't really one main character. Its becomes more about the entire team. You don't even need to play as Vaan. I spent most of the game controlling Balthier.
Its also the only Final Fantasy that's not a chore to play any more...
Well this is a shame. Really liked Dear Esther on PC.
