Same here, just couldn't bring myself to play through the awfulness. On a side note i also couldn't bring myself to finish The Last Remnant.

i think the video has the right of things, i felt the first game didn't really need a sequel however the disconnection of the story from the first game and the resulting sequels was pretty bad. They take a guy who at the end realises his mistakes and mourns/throws himself into the ocean over...
