I don't think that the walls have to be special for you to be able to use the gun on them, I think the walls have to be special for it to NOT work. This means you could just place the portal on yourself and act as a surface. Its like if you project something on your stomach.

Any of the collectible achievements in either Crackdowns are just sitting there. Crackdown 2 is a lot easier for collecting, thanks to the helicopter and orb ping, but Crackdown 1's achievements have been filed under impossible for myself.

If you are used to playing on a PC, then you should probably stick to it. The dynamics are a lot different for each type, and if you begin to console game all you are going to do is probably piss yourself off.
