Undertale is one of the best games I have ever played.

You can definitely do that, but don't think you'll be above the consequences. You'll end up having a bad time. Killing everything is not recommended for your first playthrough(But it does add some backstory on certain characters if you're a completionist).

    Undertale

Beat the game over the weekend. I think it's going to end up in my top 3 of all time at the least. This coming from someone who's been playing games since '91. Anyone that gets the full pacifist ending, make sure you backtrack to where it all began before you hit up the ending sequence(If...

Why are people making such a big deal of out of Quiet from MGS 5?

Misreading on my part, mainly due to this line "I want to play MGS without having Quiet's sexiness thrust into my face" which is a suggestion to what should be done.(Which oddly enough is possible in game) But given it was more of an explanation to stroop as to why you don't care for her...

Why are people making such a big deal of out of Quiet from MGS 5?

Why does it have to cater to you or your wife? Kojima already has an audience and he plays to it. I take it you were fine with Ishmael's ass at the beginning being the center of attention for nearly an hour? Or the Naked Snake camo gear? Or how the MB grunts will respond with...

Why are people making such a big deal of out of Quiet from MGS 5?

Sounds like No More Heroes. Was great. Was how travis "recharged" his beam katana, whose power level showed on the screen as a happy worm like thing that got more flaccid as it lost charge. I'd say go for it!

The Great Chronicle of Console RPGs Thread

You missed a couple really good SNES entries. Treasure of the Rudras [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treasure_of_the_Rudras] Live A Live [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live_A_Live] Granted they weren't released outside Japan, but both did some pretty unique things for their time. Such...

Can anyone explain Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Menace to me?

AI seems really fair to me. They're pretty good at flushing you out, but if you manage to get out(Or KO one of the flankers and sneak out that way) or hide without getting seen, they won't know where to look. They tend to lay down suppressing fire where they think you were at until they can...

Can anyone explain Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Menace to me?

    1. Third person stealth/action and open worldish. You're given an objective and can go about achieving it in any way you want. Stealth is well developed. Crouching or lying in long grass/brush/etc actually works to conceal you. Enemies have several alert states. They can get a brief...

[No MGS spoilers] Let's be real about Kojima for a second.

You want a game that delivers an experience through game mechanics, try out Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. Controlling two characters at the same time gets pretty interesting and the game does well at playing with how you handle them.

    Your favourite RPG class

Spellsword types are fun. Nightblade was one of my favorite classes in Morrowind. Focusing less on offensive damaging attacks and more on manipulating the enemy via Illusion, fortifications via Alteration, and manipulating the world via Mysticism.

    Games that tackle racism

Witcher series is right up your alley. There's a large schism between humans and non-humans(And some humans don't even consider your character to be human anymore) Deals with pogroms, freedom fighters, and terrorists. If any "Tales of" games have elves in them, you can bet they're going to...

Are There Animated Series Aimed at Adults That Aren't Comedies?

Can only think of three that aren't movies Aeon Flux, Spawn, and The Maxx. If you include movies, it'd open up a bit more, but there just isn't much of that type of animation in the west.

    Games with black protagonists?

Timesplitters 2 has many protags. The protag of the Wild West era, Elijah Jones, is black. As stated above, Streets of Rage has Adam in 1, and Skate in 2. The Elder Scrolls: Redguard follows Cyrus. 1001 Spikes has President Thompson. If I recall in Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, one of...

    Who's your favorite female protagonist?

It's actually called Iji [http://www.remar.se/daniel/iji.php]. It's free if you want to give it a try.
