The entire Metal Gear Solid series is rather obscure in many ways. Also, the universe of Beyond Good and Evil was pretty weird - but not in a "dark" obscure kind of way, quite the opposite frankly. And last but not least - Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit. That game redefined what WTF is all about.
