What this really makes me think of is Minecraft. You can die in Minecraft but it's trivial not to, creative mode doesn't have it, and early betas didn't have it either. It feels almost anachronistic to how so many play the game. And I think Minecraft represents what games *are* to a whole new...
Ironically I think Walking Dead would be a better game if they *had* removed the failure states, and the story just kept going. The quick time segments were the worst part of that game.
