Probably a machete. It takes very little energy to swing one of those.

Not difficult per say, but the final boss from Xenosaga episode three takes about an hour and a half to fight at level fifty. Add to that a move that wipes out all stat bonuses on yourself and heals himself for about 3500 health. He also starts with about 70,000 HP.
