The beta was closed. But, supposedly in May is when the RC is gunna drop. I suggest that if you are unsure about buying Windows 7 when it comes out, that you do NOT do an upgrade of your current Vista system. Instead you should create a separate partition and install the Windows 7 (beta or RC)...

I use it every day on my main computer. It runs well on newer and older hardware. I love it.
