Have just finished KoToR and I am currently playing through Jade Empire. Others that I just can't seem to stop playing include: Fallout 1&2, Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity, Sacred Plus, Diablo 1 & 2. Also like to fire up Postal 2 or something from the Half Life series for a change of pace

Just recently revisited Portal and had a blast playing through it again.

If there was an option for both I would choose that. However as there isn't I will choose JRPG's for the simple reason that Final Fantasy introduced me to the RPG genre and hooked me into this style of gaming.

Um well the thing I miss about playing games when I was younger was the way that I could stay up all night on a game and not feel it the next day. These days if I tried to do that it would either kill me or I would have to nearly overdose on caffeine just to get out of bed. Youth is wasted...

I agree with the OP partially on the patching thing as I am a gamer who's history goes back to playing on an Atari console (yup I am old) and I do remember games from the past that would have benefited from patching when it wasn't widely available. Yes a lot of companies release stuff too early...

For me it was when I played my first MMORPG which was Final Fantasy XI, logged 23 hours on my first session had a little sleep for about 4 hours then did another 19 or so. No way I could do anything approaching that these days probably manage about 5-6 hours then I would need a break...
