This is the important part. Remember when Google was asked for all of its search data and they went to court over it? That scenario will never happen again, once this bill passes -- a governmental body merely has to piggyback or otherwise liase with the Department of Commerce.

Some people make the response that, since if a company doesn't take judicious steps to protect itself, if it doesn't put in some kind of DRM, maybe it "wanted" its game pirated and won't be able to sue for damages? A load of crock, in my humble opinion, but but some people believe it.

I think it's actually pretty cool that they wrote it up as though they were writing to an actual WoW character, they really roleplayed the whole thing. Now, I think that protesting killing seals in WoW is pretty stupid when "everyone" in the game kills squirrels, wolves, bears, deer, people...
