And dude...PS3 games HAVE trophies now. Trophies and achievements are now pretty much the same on the multiplatform games.

Trophies/achievements are one of those things that take advantage of most gamers' desire to get 100%. Only problem is, if you don't have online access with your PS3 or 360 (like me), then you can only get about 2/3rds of the trophies in most games...

I think in general it's alright to have, but maybe it should be left out of hardcore games, where you're more likely to melee someone and there's no grenade indicator.

Definitely the Jak series (especially II) and the first Resistance game. I'd probably also say that Portal drew me in for its 90 minutes or so.
