I am actaully surprised that The Divine Comedy is not reimagined more often. So many people enjoy the work and even more have at least read it. Also, I agree with Pigeon about the Japanese studios. It seems like a strange topic, but I suppose I am glad the project was passed around.

I have heard so many scary addiction stories from WoW. I do not play because of the money. But I have to give it up to a game with 11 million players (something like that) paying a monthly fee. blizzard math = $15/month * 11,000,000 * 12 months/year

The new name is low on the list of my concerns. A new generation (which normally means 100 or so new Pokemon) will be released later this year. More to memorize...... And hopefully some new evolutions for some older Pokemon.
