This has lots of potential. The world creation alone will be worth a few bucks in my opinion. I don't know about the battles though, they look like they need work.

My girlfriend does not like zombie games either but loves Plants vs Zombies. ilomilo is a fun two player puzzle game that we have played together. Raskulls is cute and fun too. Fable games are good too.

I think that if they can get the Runaways back on track they will have those female characters you are asking for. Nico, Karolina, Gert, and Molly are a great group of heroines that should go over really well with the general population. Sadly we won't see them till 2013 at the earliest.

The first season I played every live game and lots of extended play, same with season 2 except I red ringed the second week of the final season. I loved that game. :( I hate poker.
