I was unfortunate enough to pre-order it, and must say it's a very disappointing game. the MP is somewhat fun, just doesn't really have any variety. I'd say don't get it.
It was stated from the beginning that his skill was beyond comparison. Not even Dumbledor, the worlds greatest wizard WITH the Elder Wand could beat him. (Taken it was more of a stalemate then) It's repeated that many tried, all failed.
If you enjoyed the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series I think you'd enjoy the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. Though aimed a bit younger I thought they were great books.
I'd probably go out into the wasteland and attempt to preserve some history of before the apocalypse. Similar to the Brotherhood of Steel, but I'd openly share it with those who show interest. Possibly start up a group who does that sort of thing.
