I watched the entire video. He specifically says that it's "a Tegra," that's all. In fact, he specifically brings up the point that the chip isn't even branded as a Nintendo chip, unlike other consoles do, which even further suggests that it's a standard Tegra.
Speaking theoretically, I would use an ad-block after the third time an ad, on a reputable site no less, gave me malware.
Theoretically speaking, of course.
The keys are purchased with stolen financial information.
A common tactic with professional credit thieves is to immediately purchase something easily resold and difficult to track(like digital game keys). It costs them literally nothing to purchase fraudulent copies of a game key then...
You guys are overblowing this just a bit.
This is the business equivalent of you wanting to know what your neighbors are doing on the edge of your properties. There's nothing outright malicious about this YET.
I wonder if this data is coming from when they introduced the two reports a week limit, which dropped the volume of my reports by 90% on it's own, or if it's coming from when they introduced the new (and hilarious) mute/low priority system. Or maybe it comes from large numbers of people just...
TimeGate had a publishing deal with SouthPeak. TimeGate claims that SouthPeak screwed them over on the publishing bit by withholding money from game sales, letting other companies use the IP, etc. SouthPeak counter-sued and claimed that TimeGate didn't spend enough of their, TimeGate's, own...
What I question about this is, is the hours counted actual playtime, or does it also count hours idle in their adobe air launcher? I know many people will sit and leave the launchers up while they go do other things.
People were calling flop on this from the get go. It's just a bad game. And, even worse than being bad, it's BORING.
That, and Bioware had to deal with Lucas Arts. It's a recipe for disaster.
This is a terrible idea. Now companies are going to see this, see that people are actually willing to pay the tax, and say "Well, if they'll pay it then, we can carry out our own on-line tax! And we can tax ALL the browsers!"
Death of internet shopping, here we come.
Why is it "gamer entitlement" whenever we don't like something and give voice to it? This is the only industry where people will seriously tell you with a straight face that people who complain feel entitled. If this was an article about how meat companies were going to start putting fiber...
Wait...isn't this entire thing a marketing pitch?
"Guys, we're working on a "better" ending, so buy our game!"
And then we can buy the ending DLC after it comes out...5 dollars per ending.
It's not quite as bad as the article puts it out to be. The whole child making process basically boils down to a kiss, and causes the kid to pop out of some item (egg, maybe?)
And sending kids into battle is nothing new. Dragon Quest did it long before this game was even thought up.
You mean I won't have to play with filthy console peasants now? Thank god.
On a more serious note, I'm glad this is happening as a PC gamer. I've been completely spoiled by Valve's policy of releasing large updates completely for free...I was worried they might go to a DLC scheme for their...
