I have recently started modeling some weapons for the steam workshop, but the weapons I make always end up floating over their heads. How do I correct this problem?

I am ashamed to admit this, but here goes. One time at a convention, me and my friends (who aren't nerds)saw this hot girl dressed as Morrigan from Dark stalkers. The first words out of my mouth? I do love the Frontier Justice, it fits perfectly to the Engineer play style. Also The Home Wrecker. Mainly because I can say hammer time anytime I kill someone with it.
