It really depends on the game and why I'm playing it. I mean, most of the time I play Madden on the tailored difficulty thing, but when I'm in a mood (like, say, the PAtriots lost to the Jets in the play-offs), I'll stick it on normal difficulty and take pleasure from squishing teams with ease...

Maybe there's some impediment that I'm not thinking of, but why can't they implement different death penalties on different servers in order to provide for all potential customers?

Final Fantasy X-2 is never given the credit it deserves. It's a good, not great game that's criminally under-rated because it's not as good FFX. It's sort of like the anti-Final Fantasy VII.

I think the correct outcome would be for Bethesda to win rights to the IP on condition that they rename New Vegas Fallout 3, since it's an actual continuation of the first two games, and give the Capital Wasteland game a new name that more accurately reflects it's relationship to the original...

FPS. Aside from the fact they're dull and peaked when I was nearly 3, all the modern ones are based around multiplayer modes populated by a huge number of people who should have been gassed at birth.

The story pretty much concludes itself, so I don't see why it has to be a direct sequel. RDRedemption isn't direct sequel to RDRevolver, after all. If it were up to me, I'd just use the RDR_ franchise to tell stories within various time frames of their Old West setting and with the odd reference...
