I like that companies are investing money into producing content in my home country but I am extremely bothered that the government of Ontario would pump so much money into one game studio. That money could be better used to help with all the bad schools in Toronto and the rest of the province...

Seems like a situation where they should have went to Valve and said "Hey, we have retail stores that tons of people go to, you have a great distribution platform. We should team up to get the content out to more people and split the profits in a fair way."

Would you rather simply not have this content at all? Would Gears of War have been better without those gun skins? Would Mass Effect have been better without those extra characters? Would fighting games be better if you could not get those cool new guys to beat up someone? You can complain...

There is no way to 'beat' most of these games and that is the point. You just keep playing it until you either get bored or are willing to spend the money to get that new shiny object that nobody else you know has. And I do not just base these things off of playing some game. I not only know...
