red steel had by far the most hyped game ever but when it came out to all the consumers it failed....badly.It had awful controls that were very unresponsive,some generally ps2 esc graphics,and an awful mario style storyline i put it down in the first half hour and i've never played it since

probably gaming worst enemy its the bowser of mario......simply said hype can make a great games experience (looking at you halo 3) less enjoyable even if its still a great game

it really depends on the type of FPS because whereas the likes of far cry,bioshock and dues ex where innovative the market seems to be overflowed with wwii and sci fi shooters which can sometimes put you off altogether.But i definetly can see publishers going in more innovative directions when...
