"I paid for this?": The decline in movie making

So stop being a lazy half-wit and look for actual interesting movies rather than glancing at what the mainstream has to offer before despairing of the whole music. Your point is akin to cursing music as a whole based on the latest black-eyed-peas offering.

Used Game Sales are a "Bigger Problem Than Piracy"

I hear what he's saying, and it sounds like "Boo-hoo we need more money; my beemers nearly a year old and I haven't been on holiday in months". Listen closely, and you'll hear the sound of an entire planet not giving a shit. What kind of drooling, gibbering eyebleedingly bedwettingly imbecilic...

Poll: World War Z - should I go get it and read it?

I'd go for both, though WWZ is by far the most satisfying read. Max Brooks takes a straight-laced look at the idea of a zombie outbreak that makes all offerings that come before look childish and tired. Well researched, well written and imaginative modern classic.

What would your mind look like?

a haunted 1920's style hotel staffed by weird fantasy creatures - ghosts, dragons, zombies etc It would all be quite film noir with a hint of horror fantasy and the generaly bizzare. A big grandfather clock in the foyer which is powered by a hamster wheel(the hamster is dead but the wheel spins...
