    Fail of the year

Feel the same way about that one. And also have very similar feelings about Dead Rising 2 unfortunately. It didn't seem to improve much (I know it had lots more stuff, but it wasn't declunkified at all, which was my only complaint with the first).

What game did you finish today?

Eternal Darkness. Finally. Always played up to the last couple of stages and got distracted; finally did that last bit. Yay for lateness!

Parts in movies that you hate.

Grosse Pointe Blank. Remember the cool film with all the 80s tunes, shooting, Ackroyd and Cusack?

    Where to buy inkblot patterns?

Ah, may give that a whack. Generally, looking at anything I've made myself makes me feel very silly and insecure (exception: cake), but can't hurt. Cheers.

    Where to buy inkblot patterns?

Hi, Currently in the middle of decorating my room. Aiming to have a few low-key monochrome images around it, so I'm currently considering getting some inkblot patterns (a la Rorschach) to frame and put on the walls. Currently, I'm struggling to find any cheap prints of these images, and...

Something you think should be in game

I like PsychoticForesight's idea; I hate it in games like Fable where one's character's appearance is based on alignment, with no ability to change it. Also, most games could do with giving the possibility of the PC wearing a poncho. Because RDR showed us how jolly that can be.

Best pointless thing you've ever bought.

I would say the banana guard I bought myself. (as seen here: http://www.bananaguard.com/) However, I have discovered it is quite good at guarding bananas, meaning it's not entirely pointless :(

Poll: Assassin's Creed Brotherhood - Favourite New Assassin?

I'm with Nukey. Zebra looks awesome. Doing a counter with a mace in AC2 was always satisfying, and since they're apparently improving the combat system, Zebra-mace-kills should be rather dandy in Brotherhood.

    Patrick Stewart vs James Corden

I'm with you on that. I think Patrick Stewart was just trying to do a public service by pointing out that Corden's belly is really not nice to look at. Why he continues to get it out for 'comic effect' in things completely puzzles me...

If you had to change your console to a different one what would you pick

Same as op, would prob go from 360 to PS3, just to try some of the exclusives I've missed (particularly this Uncharted thing I've heard about). Or, if it were an option, a good gaming pc.

    Poll: Shooting the body parts

Sometimes in Fallout, I'd go for the legs, then get them to limp near to some cars. Then exploderise the cars and victim. True, I lost out on experience. And loot. But it was so pretty when it worked with a group of Talon mercs.

    connected universe movies

Can't think of any off the bat, but the character Earl McGraw pops up in a few Tarantino/Rodriguez films (Planet Terror, Death Proof, Kill Bill, From Dusk Till Dawn). I think it can really add to the enjoyment one gets from a film, since it's familiar, and you feel like you're 'in on it'.

2nd episode of Doctor Who *possible spoilers*

Aye, it seemed quite awesome. Moffat must have been tearing through the Star Wars boxset when he wrote it, mind, what with certain scenes and lines. Did anyone else notice those? Next week's one looks AWESOME.

Games you wish never had a sequel?

1st post. Nervous. Anyway, I'll risk saying Black & white 2. I loved the original and CI, but the sequel just seemed a little rough to me. Not so much of the original's charm and humour. Also, very much in agreement about Bioshock 2. Edit: Oh, and I forgot to mention Deus Ex. Fantastic...
