I'm utterly aghast that no-one's mentioned Kurt Hectic's armour from MDK. Re-entry from orbit, ftw. The long faceplate is used for re-entry and for sniping, when he's on the ground it goes over his right hand and works as a high-power machinegun.

Get to Double Fine, get job working for / with Tim Schafer. Between your genius and his, you'd obliterate every other game developer, ever. :D
