Sorry but The Asylum already claimed the Atlantic. Unfortunately.
OT: Liked the first film well enough but a sequel not happening isn't going to upset me in the least.
The best part is that all (at least the vast majority) of those games still exist, so there's nothing to miss!
And even nowadays there are still plenty of great 'smart' and 'intelligent' games being made. You just need to look for them! (I know that's far too much effort for some people...
"Some of them didn't even have a particular villain in mind, like... the man with the burlap sack on his head and a sharp pickaxe"
I'm pretty sure that's Jason Voorhees as he appeared in Friday the 13th Pt.2
And nobody's mentioned the bat-rat-spider-crab-marionette from The Angry Red Planet yet?
Granted the rest of the film's effects are terrible as well but this part takes the cake.
Haven't listened to a lot of new music this year but the ones that I have listened to and really enjoyed have been:
A Plague of Knowing - Horseback
The Next Day - David Bowie
Like Clockwork - QOTSA
Hesitation Marks - NIN
Push The Sky Away - Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds
My Shame Is...
I would say anything written by Rowland S. Howard, but if I had to choose one song it would be this one. Great band, great song.
EDIT: Ah screw it, here are a couple of my other favorites as well -
Prototype 2 and man was it underwhelming. Pretty fun but when I finished the game and the 'finish game in hard mode' trophy popped up I could hardly imagine that what I'd just played was considered 'hard'.
Oh man, I've been watching a lot of those 'science gone wrong' sci-fi movies from the 50s and 60s lately (The Wasp Woman etc) and when something like this is announced those movies are the only thing I can think about...
I've been watching a lot of 50s/60s sci-fi lately and last night i watched The Angry Red Planet.
It was amazing. It was filmed in 9 days with a budget of $190,000 so you can probably guess how bad the effects are and just everything in general. But man is it entertaining. It used this gimmick...
I hate coming up with usernames. I was listening to Black Dream by Samhain at the time and since it's one of my favorite songs of theirs it seemed like a good enough choice.
I noticed this when Resident Evil Revelations came out on PS3.
It was around $40 - $45 on shelves but on the PSN store it was $70+ (I live in Australia btw).
I don't get it.
