Agree with most of what's posted here and am cautiously optimistic bout DA3. Don't think it's been mentioned but DA2's inventory system was a welcome improvement over DA:O's one - having to look up every damn item to be sure it was junk before selling it was a real chore, and the DA2 crafting...

Could people please stop with these car analogies? There are a ton of reasons that buying a car is not like buying a game, for a start you only usually own one car at a time, and you don't exactly sell them as soon as you've had enough fun out of it to get a different brand of car and drive that...

I really liked the game, the flaws have been stated ad nauseam already but they weren't obtrusive to my enjoyment of the game, and especially the interplay of the characters. Was it quite as good as the original, no, but it wasn't that far off, and I;m still looking forward to more sequels.
