Enslaved As It Should Have Been

I would totally play that game. that sounds awesome... an upgradable ass kicking robot who's only mission is to save the humanity that he learned to hate? If done right, that's a game of the year right there.

EA: Making DRM Disappear in One Easy Step

You'd figure the whole Ubisoft servers down and so no one can use AC2 fiasco would be enough to put a damper on this 'no net, no work' thing... but, at least you can download from the CD as much as you want now. I always thought that 3 dl minimum thing was trash. And if it doesn't install any...

    246: The Last Samurai

Boy do I miss Bushido Blade now. I remember playing it way back. Everyone was going off about Tekken and to me all I could think was, "Yoshimutsu's sword should kill them all with one, maybe two strikes." and then Soul Calibur and Battle Area Toshinden. I just wanted another game like Bushido...

    Poll: Ask a Canadian

Only until Leafs/ Habs come up in conversation. For non-hockey folk, that's Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens, aka Les Habitante, aka Habs. Better than what the worst of the worst in the US say, but worser than it was back in the day. Simply, a lot of our talent pool ( doctors...

Ragequitting to deny someone a victory

I have never left when frustrated or losing if there was something to win, even if it's just 1xp. If there was no benefit to me or the opposing player in me staying until the end, then I may leave, if the opposition is a sore-winner. Otherwise, it's just jokes a plenty at the fact I suck...

    Why We're Using Review Scores

Well said, traffic is the bread maker, after all, so why shoo away those that just want the number. My issue is that in reading the reviews up until now, I always felt that playability and immersion, true game elements held the greatest sway in the review being given. My concern was that...

Let?s Play Civilization IV. Chapter Eight, Part I: Getting Strategic

From the desk of Legatus Gaius Varrus Sutorius: Hail Caesar, Great Caesar, the Empire grows unbounded by the might of our mighty legions and your catious ministration. Would ceasing the spread of the light of our culture to these barbarous hordes not be for the good of all? To allow them...

Let?s Play Civilization IV. Chapter Eight, Part I: Getting Strategic

From the desk of Legatus Gaius Varrus Sutorius, Hail Caesar, We have ill tidings lord, the Mongol city of Turfan is in such a way as to be near impregnable from an assault. Just a single stretch of land allows a direct assault without crossing a river. A work of defensive architectual...

So I can't have "Special relationships" with my party on Dragon Age: Origins

Hm.. that ... hm... Well, it's nice that Bioware are so forward thinking with their sexual option in their games.

A Picture Is Worth a Thousand Dialogue Trees

That was a touching read and well done. The spoilers aren't even all that bad. Considering that I play a male Sheppard and am actively figuring out who the paramour should be it's nice to know who it could have been were I to play a woman. So no spoiler there :) just saved me froma second play...

Let?s Play Civilization IV. Chapter Eight, Part I: Getting Strategic

Wow.. that was some hard hill fighting. Gotta hate it when they are on hills, in cities, with archers, on city walls!!! And for Tiwaniku, there was even a river to cross. Not that you had to fight across it, but it was there. Beautifully told, btw. Great screen shots. ** From the desk of...

Did anyone like Miranda ?(Mass Effect 2)

I liked her a lot. I thought her caracter was pretty well written. She's been groomed to be perfect, but is not perfect and that's just it. She is smarter, her body is faster, deadlier, but emotionally she's about as broken down as you can get. She tries to be miss proper but in the end, she's...
