I miss the multiplayer announcers from Call of Duty: World at War. They were awesome with their emotion and (probably fake) accents.
"We got this one, keep it going!"
"Stick together and we'll come out on top."
"A lot of good men died today, all for nothing!"
"Outstanding, Marines...
They got rid of "Running Down A Dream" and "Killing In The Name."
They removed some resolution options (such as 1920X1080).
They caused game saves to become corrupted (players are booted into New Game).
They enabled "Steering with Mouse" by default.
They done fucked it up.
The Dark Room.
It's a text game, so don't expect much in the visual department. That said, it does provide an intriguing narrative. Not much is explained except for the details provided of the environment and the flow of consciousness given by yourself apparently.
If you're into that...
Yup yup. Would you say that the armor is practical given his strength and ring, or is it too much?
Thanks for the discussion, by the way.
It would be cool to have a game where you play city guards in that kind of attire. Whereas the fancy schmancy knights wear their shiny armor, you and...
Fair enough for the most part, although what about Havel the Rock from Dark Souls? It's quite protective, but hardly slender or mobile except with relatively high stats.

Heavy-weight strength combined with indomitable suspension of disbelief, I'd imagine.
Aw yeah, Mount & Blade!
I can see where you're coming from, although I'm fine with fantastical armor and weapons. It's a style thing more than anything. While practical stuff displays more of a grounded setting, fantastical stuff shows a over-the-top and, well, fantastical setting.
I...
Lately I've been playing a lot of Skullgirls...
I gotta satisfy that spectacle fighter itch somehow.
I also recently got this game called Savant - Ascent. Kickass soundtrack, I must say.
It's a common defense, yes. Television and movies were blamed for society's ills. Before that, radio was blamed. Before that, telephones. Even before that, written works.
That goes without saying, really. What's the point in having a great concept if you screw up the execution?
Although one should not be surprised with eye candy. We already have that stuff prevalent in gaming. Who doesn't get hot and bothered by Dante, Snake, and Agent York?
I understand and agree with what you're saying.
In terms of games that emphasize romance/relationships, though, are you thinking something like Mass Effect and Dragon Age? I remember reading an interesting topic before about the sexuality of romance-able companions. Some people argued that...
It's well within your rights to support gay/sex positive games. Character diversity is more often than not good for an entertainment medium, such as with genres and settings. The only thing that would raise an eyebrow for me would be supporting a game with poor gameplay/story just for having a...
Which do you think had the better soundtrack: Persona 3 or 4?
While I can't hate on Reach Out to the Truth, I can't seem to get enough of those urban beats.
