Re: Cutie Honey is amazing. It's short but so damn good.
Mai Otome has been mentioned. Great show with great voice talent. I personally liked this show better than HiME but I think I'm pretty alone in that.
Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha. The first season is quite good, the second one is...
Yeah, that's sort of the thing isn't it? When people ask for "mature" anime most of the recommendations tend to be for "dark" shows with lots of gore and/or nudity.
Some of the most mature animes I've seen have been marketed as shounen. There are of course a few seinen series that get it right...
I hope we get some middle ground between the two games.
The first one just looks sooooo slow most of the times but the second one is a wee bit over the top. Though I guess DA II does have a fairly good reason for it since the game is basically just Varric telling a story and he likes to...
Holy crap! Another person who actually liked DA2? You don't see that every day.
I'm really looking forward to DA3 and I honestly don't think it's a bad thing that you can only play as a human. It just makes more sense, it's their Chantry so why the hell would a dwarf or a Dalish elf get...
This is gonna be pretty vague but I gotta give it a shot. Not knowing what game this is has been bugging me for years.
I'm looking for an old 2D fantasy game and it's probably either an RPG or a point and click adventure game. I never played it myself, I watched my brother and his friends...
The Left 4 Dead games. Most I think because I was forced to play the first one about a billion times in one month by all my friends who wanted to try it/loved it.
This guy:
Also my last name translates to "Oakman" so it's pretty darn close!
That's the only game character I can think of called Samuel, though. I know there are a bunch of Sams but I don't really count them since I've never been referred to as Sam.
Only it wouldn't have been the same because the first season of TNG is kind of bad... The rest is awesome be the first is just... Not very good at all.
The first games I tried and played a few times was Duck Tales and Super Mario Bros. on my cousin's NES but the game that really got me into gaming, I think, has to be Donkey Kong Country with some help from TMNT: Turtles in Time.
Dragon Age: Origins was great, imo.
Especially Alistair and Morrigan.
Actually, most BioWare games have really good voice acting. Baldur's Gate 2 is of course slightly extra awesome thanks to Minsc. The Mass Effect series is also great, though I don't really care for Mark Meer's voice acting...
