Personally, I like to play Super Meat Boy to relieve stress. It's the only game that I get REALLY wrapped up in. Also, Minecraft is a good alternative.

Halo 3. Although it was technically the first FPS I ever owned so there may be quite a bit of bias behind that. Also the forge mode easily doubled the entertainment value for me.
