While I do understand where the point is coming from, Legend of zelda was better than Zelda 2, Kotor was better than Kotor 2, Left 4 Dead was better than Left for Dead 2, Mario Galaxy is better than Galaxy 2, etc., etc., and so forth. I see why you think that sequels are consistently better, but...

Mass Effect 2, followed by DragonAge, followed by Oblivion. I simply found that, although I played Oblivion for countless more hours than either of the others, I didn't enjoy said countless hours. Mass Effect 2 was fun, had amazing characters, and I enjoyed it equally throughout both playthroughs.

Bioshock

I don't play many horror games, but the first game that really scared me was Paper Mario. I only wish I was kidding.

Frankly, I just make it a point to hate everyone.

I'm annoyed that I'm the only person to mention this, but the Discovery. Because HAL would be quite nice company.

Because it's a week and a half until I can game again, and if I don't have some sort of exposure to games for that time, I'm pretty sure physical withdrawal will occur.

Am I the only one who finds it kind of strange how many of the characters picked are Valve characters?

The groundskeeper from the Shining. He's just walking down a hall, and then out of nowhere, BOOM, a friggin axe to the spine. Also, this is beside the point, but in the pencil trick scene from the Dark Knight, nobody actually died.
