I found it!! After two long years I actually found it. I was thinking of the game Vermilion. Finally this weight has been lifted!! I remembered some things wrong of course but I'm happy to have found it.

Are you talking about Leisure Suit Larry: MCL? The cover is actually Larry holding a thing of beer, and two women with him, but the game description itself sounds like it could be right.

Is it possible you're thinking of a game from the Golden Axe series? It doesn't sound exactly like what you describe so I could be extremely wrong, but I do believe it's similar and had a PC port. I haven't played every Golden Axe game, so I figured it could be one of them.

I've been looking everywhere, based off what I remember of this game that's been bothering me for the past two years. I still haven't been able to find it and I've looked through a good few pages of this thread to no success. I don't remember the year the game was released, nor the platform...
