Sounds to me like you would enjoy a game called Valheim. Its rougelike if you sneak with the bow and arrow and you can craft and build while trying to survive.

On the Super Nintendo there was this game where you were a blue blob and it was a sidescroller action just like Mario but with more jumping puzzles. I would love to play it again!

Here's my hot take: The melee combat in Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is super similar to the sword fighting in Skyrim. Can we investigate into whether or not the developers of Skyrim were inspired by Dark Messiah of Might and Magic?

Right now I'm playing the original Return to Castle Wolfenstein for the first time.
