The stars are right... for another superpower lottery thread!

Psammokinetic Creature Creation: The user can generate, shape, and control creatures made of sand. Not bad. Replace world leaders with sand replacements. Word gets out and I have an endless army. And I get every excuse to have my secret base on the beach.

The first videogame you ever played

I'm pretty sure I grew up playing the old Humongous Entertainment games like Spy Fox or Pajama Sam. My first proper game was probably either Return to Castle Wolfenstein or GTA III at my cousin's house. My first console game was Pokemon Yellow, though

What is the most difficult, but enjoyable game you've ever played?

Give Dwarf Fortress a shot. It's like shoving your face through a wall. It hurts to keep on going, it's impossible to succeed, but if you fail spectacularly enough, you become amazing. Edit: Ninja'd by catbeard!

I need a new webcomic to read

If you don't mind a comic that updates at a slow rate (maybe 20 strips last year, but he's picked up the pace) try "Dresden Codak". For more reliable updates, look for "The Zombie Hunters" and "Nerf Now?!" For some relatively young comics, there's "The Dreadful", "How I Killed Your Master", and...

    Games You'd Buy Twice

I bought Evil Genius twice on CD, lost one of the download discs each time. After a year of missing it, I bought it a third time off of Steam

    I need a book.

If you end up liking this series(or even just the first book) also look into the Codex Alera series, but the same author. A bit "higher" fantasy, and a lot of fun to read.

    Favorite game. Ever. Period.

My favorite game of all time would have to be Evil Genius. I bought it in 2005 for $50, lost one of the install disks, rebought it for the same price, lost another disk, and found it a few years later on Steam. In addition to being worth every cent, it was the game that introduced me to Steam

Which 3 games would you play for the rest of your life?

What novel should they make into a game?

I'd love to see a game based on the Mortal Engines series. It'd probably be complicated with the massive game world that'd be necessary, but it'd be awesome. It'd be even more amazing as an MMO, with cities run by guilds

What's your favourite underrated game that you KNOW! is awesome!?

Evil Genius. A strategy game on the PC that came out in 2004(I think), is largely unknown (or at least unmentioned), and the only time I heard it mentioned on the Escapist was a few seconds in Yahtzee's Overlord II review (0:16)
