I would say Nemesis from Resident Evil. Between the menacing voice and the fact that he's twice as tall as any of the playable characters, that guy gave me the willies.
I would have to say the Battle of Hampton Roads during the American Civil War. After shooting at each other for almost a day, the two most technologically advanced warships in the conflict failed to even scratch each other.
EPIC FAIL
I have had it with WWII games. Clubbing Nazis with M-1 Garands and Thompsons are only interesting for so long. COD4 is by far my favorite war game for its more current setting, and nothing bummed me out more than seeing COD5 being set, once again, in WWII. Maybe in a year or two I'll go back to...
The AIs from COD4 were fantastic. I know what Yahtzee has said of them, but they are extremely helpful in picking off waves of bad guys and never got on my nerves.
