Soul Calibur 3 had some crazy AI, anybody who's had to fight that girl with the sword in the umbrella at later levels knows what I mean.

Halo is definitely an example of a game diminished by its crowd. It started out strong and the first had a decent plot but once it gained popularity the games sharply turned downhill.

As much as I love portal (i have still alive on my mp3 player) the fanbase has definitely killed it. The reason it was so good in the first place was because it stayed under the radar of hype and drooling fanboyism. Now that it has millions of fanboys making "cake is a lie" remarks every chance...

confessions... lets see Ive actually put effort into trying to get addicted to an MMO, didnt work. I prefer Team Fortress over Counter Strike Ive played every Tony Hawk game made, and refuse to even go near SKATE for that very reason. I have cried at parts of particularly immersive games...
