Is it a good thing or a bad thing that remembering back to D&A or extra credits makes me feel old? OT: anyone still remember when unforgotten realms was here on the escapist?

I havent played heavy rain and probably never will cause that type of game just doesnt appeal to me. ive been told that its supposed to get really good towards the middle/end but i watched someone play the first few hours and was like 'when are we gonna do something exiting? im getting bored.'
