What bothers me is how the kind of people you're describing who want to deny the presence of "-isms" in games are also usually the first ones to complain about how terrible shows like The Big Bang Theory (and other media) are and how offensive they are to geek culture. I certainly don't disagree...
I have a feeling people wouldn't be nearly as outraged over this if Lucas hadn't spent the 90's and 00's mishandling the franchise to the point where it almost seemed intentionally bad. At this point, it's possible that the only Star-Wars-related thing Lucas could do that would not upset a good...
FYI, the correct word for "person who identifies as something other than man or woman" is genderqueer, not transsexual. Transsexuals generally live and identify strictly as men/male or women/female... just opposite whatever they were born as.

I'm sure that a lot of bad reviews are from trolls who hate the CoD franchise. But then there are also people like me who loved the hell out of MW2 and absolutely hate MW3.
Compared to 2, 3 has TERRIBLE map design... so bland, repetitive, claustrophobic, and boring. Enemies spawn behind you...
The "WoW clone" argument and the fact that TOR's interface is very similar reminds me of a point Yahtzee made in his "Too Human" video about the bass ackwards controls and some metaphor about a submarine made of bread...
Point is, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
I guess I do agree with Yahtzee on the "bland character/story" front, but then again, if Nintendo tries to give Link even more of a personality and back-story than in Wind Waker, we could wind up with another Other M. And I'd personally rather run around as a boring mute than have another...
The only thing I found impressive about this game was that despite already being campy as all hell, they found a way to make it even more sexist and misogynistic. But that's not really a point in its favor...
Based on what Yahtzee said, this game sounds like a series of QTEs integrated into actual gameplay rather than being part of cutscenes...
Sounds pretty awful.
Assassin's Creed 2
*Spoilers*
In sequence 9, when you have to assassinate the Doge, during one of the cutscenes someone mentions that you can use the cover of the fireworks to mask the sound of shooting him. I thought that would be a really cool thing. Unless I did something very wrong...
