ive tried everything posted so far still no luck

I have recently purchased tf2 from steam but whenever i get in a match it instantly pops up an error message saying that the game cant read what i think is a file but it just say a bunch of letters and numbers and then closes the game. i think this from my laptop not installing the game proply...

at first thought fallout 3 co-op seems good until you think about stuff like vats, speech, the pip boy, and the fact that some place change during the story example: megaton can go boom and if you have broken steel you can blow up the cidital but probaly the biggest would be who gets what unlike...
