OK for the rpg stance I actually believe DnD did the most for the genre myself despite it being a book and dice game.

I knew that, I am just stating that other languages have their own names for the elements. Only the letters are universal. I can't remember the Japanese word for gold but I am sure it isn't related to AU either, EDIT: "go-rudo, kogane, kin" is what I got when i translated gold to Japanese.

In all video games there has been a good question about what had the greatest affect on it genres, many good arguments can come from this. Golden Eye for fps, Diablo for rpgs, Tecmobowl for Sports. But which game had the greatest overall long term impact for its retrospective genre?

Well in rugby you don't have as much impact as in Gridiron. Which (thank you Torries btw I am going to use that term now) don't get me wrong there's as much if not more contact but it just isn't as "Impact-ual." Had to make up a word on the spot being the good Yank I am.

Well I personally love the bastardizations of English. I myself being a linguist major drool over these topics. I tend to think it isn't bastardization per se of British English but evolution of a language that is being sped and slowed down at the same time. That is what the internet has down...
