Actually it started development before 2007 when it was announced. Not sure why it was delayed except for to many similarities with Twin Peaks. If you look at the trailer from 2007 you'll see that only character models have been improved in the visuals. Think of this game as a budget 2007...

This game is awesome, it's fun and unpredictable. I think most of the people here who thinks it sucks haven't played or just play fps games and couldn't afford anything else but this game. I wish Yahtzee would review this game and show you guys what it's really about.
