Breaking Bad Antagonists (SPOILERS UP TO THE LATEST EPISODE)

You forgot about the twins as antagonists; really it's just Gus who wasn't of that ilk, and complaining that your next enemy isn't as good as Gus is futile, because he's possibly the best TV antagonist ever.

Moments of "Wow, Hell of an Actor"

Strongly agreed. Christian Bale is one of my favourite actors, and I think Equilibrium might be his best performance. He pulls off a character who had no emotions, now has them but still has to pretend he doesn't incredibly well. He's also very good in The Prestige.

What's your favourite four consecutive albums by artist?

A lot of the obvious choices I would have gone for (in particular, Pink Floyd) have been taken, so I'll say Trivium: Ember To Inferno, Ascendancy, The Crusade and Shogun. I listen to a lot less metalcore than I used to, but Trivium's first two are still very solid albums, and the sort of music...

Doctor Who Christmas Special: The Snowmen

The episode was very good. Possibly the best Christmas special so far (only A Christmas Carol rivals it, really). To everyone who has a problem with the "crying saved the day" thing - remember, the snow was (or had) a telepathic field. One of the first things that happens is that Clara...

Poll: Best Superhero movie of 2012

Chronicle is the best out of the ones I've seen (which doesn't include Avengers), but I hesitate to call it a superhero film. TDKR was never going to live up to the previous film (although it was better than it could have been), and The Amazing Spiderman was on roughly the same level as Raimi's...

    Your Music pet peeves

I thought you didn't believe in microgenres. Talking of which, I find it annoying when people complain about genres. They're useful, you don't have to use them if you don't want to, and there really aren't that many of them (and the ones there are aren't normally very similar). I have...

Movie Trillogies with better 3rd installments

I imagine it takes rather a long time to build something that large. At the end of Revenge Of The Sith, the framework had barely been completed, but they apparently hadn't even tested it until somewhere in A New Hope, implying it had been finished recently. If you factor in the work force...

I might have just disproved math.

Pi and sqrt(2) are both real numbers. sqrt(-1) is not, and the last inequality doesn't make sense, because there isn't a notion of "greater than" for complex numbers. When you're dealing with things as awkward as 0/0, approximating isn't really that useful unless it's by limits, which we get...

I might have just disproved math.

That's not quite correct. Infinity isn't a number, so it's quite hard to use it in a situation like this, but the size of an infinity depends on the cardinality. For example, the natural numbers (0, 1, 2, ...), the integers (... -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, ...) and the rational numbers (fractions) are all...

    I Need More Metal!! D:

Invection are mostly straight up thrash, but I have a feeling this song might be up your street: Similar sort of situation here, but you're probably more likely to have heard of Artillery: Something a bit heavier; black metal, but a bit more melody than might be typical:

    Best Radiohead Song

In no particular order: Paranoid Android Jigsaw Falling Into Place Climbing Up The Walls How To Disappear Completely Let Down You can probably guess I like the ballad-y Radiohead more than either their rocky stuff or the electronic things (although both have exceptions, such as Sulk...

Bands/Singers/Genres of music you hate (but everyone else loves)

"Slasher" metal? OT: There is very little music I actively dislike, but I suppose the closest would be the songs that are the annoying type of catchy, like Calvin Harris - Bounce, and DJ Fresh - Louder.

    Willing to consider: Scr/EMO

ITT: People don't know the difference between screamo and metalcore. This is probably my favourite screamo song: This is emo, but seeing as screamo is basically just emo with harsh vocals you might be interested in this as well:
