So far I'd say Dark Souls, amazing game. But Skyrim isn't out yet and Minecraft isn't officially out ^^ Portal 2, Super Meat Boy and Deux Ex are also really far up there.

The one game I bought this year that I thought was shit was Uncharted, but that didn't come out this year so... Dirt 3. Actually liked the game itself but 4 hours of installing and getting Games for windows Live to work, thats wors than any other game this year and it was totally unnecessary -.-

I'd say its "The Book of Unwritten Tales". A point'n'click from 2009. It basically sold me on the whole genre. The art style and characters are just so funny and cute. I'd recommend it to everyone, but unfortunately its just available in german...
