Ok, well I don't own a regular Xbox (I have a PS2 which I'm gonna keep to play older games on) so backwards compatibility isn't an issue either way. Though partly the reason I decided against buying a PS3. But I see your point(s), thanks for the info. Of course this all depends on my budget...

Hi, I'm thinking about buying an Xbox 360 and shall probably get an arcade version. But I just want to check: what's the real difference between the arcade version and the elite one? and will the 512MB of memory on the arcade one be enough for a lot of saved game data?
